Windsor 125 Banners - Look for custom banners displayed on light posts throughout town.

March 23: Quasquicentennial Kick-off - A ceremony commemorating Windsor’s official 125th Anniversary - Hear a reading of the official Anniversary Proclamation and enjoy a celebratory lighting of Town Hall.

April

April 2: Windsor’s official Quasquicentennial & Beer Tapping - Celebrate with us at High Hops Brewery, 6461 HWY 392, from 5 to 8 p.m. for the unveiling of 1890 Red, the official beer of Windsor's 125th Anniversary, and other festivities. 

April 18: 10th Annual Windsor Arbor Day 5K Run/Walk - Join us in this family-friendly race around scenic Windsor Lake to celebrate trees and Windsor's 125th Anniversary! All proceeds go towards planting trees throughout our community and seedlings will be given to all participants. Visit the event page for more information and to register.

June 4: Kick-off Concert and Downtown Chalk Event

Kick-off Concert - Thursday evening summer concerts begin with Chris Daniels & The Kings (Funk & Rock)! Join us for a special Windsor 125 birthday cake, the All Town BBQ beginning at 5 p.m., and the concert from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Chalk Artists Downtown - Chalk artists will be downtown at 5th & Main Street creating a custom art piece for the anniversary prior to the All Town BBQ event at Boardwalk Park.

June 11: Summer Concert - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park featuring Taarka (Gypsy/Jazz/Indie Folk)

June 12: Movie in the Park - Watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (PG) for free! Movie starts at 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park.

June 18: Summer Concert - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park featuring Kory Brunson Band (Modern Country)

June 23: Windsor 125 Trivia - Join us and the Coloradoan staff at High Hops Brewery, 6461 CO-392, from 6:30 to 8:30pm for Windsor-centric trivia that's sure to test your knowledge! 1890 Red will be $1 off and food trucks will be available. Sign up and see more details here.

July 4: Fourth of July celebration - Concert featuring The Blue Canyon Boys (Bluegrass) from 7 - 9:30 p.m. and other activities will lead up to Windsor fireworks like you’ve never seen before! You won’t want to miss this special fireworks show.

July 9: Summer Concert - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park featuring Facing West (Original Acoustic Folk). Look for Windsor 125 activities including a photo booth, interactive chalkboard wall, and more at this concert and others throughout the rest of the summer.

July 10: Movie in the Park Family Camp Out - Watch Paddington (PG) for $8/person. Movie starts at 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park.

July 16: Taste of Windsor Now & Summer Concert - Join us for the Taste of Windsor Now! in Boardwalk Park from 4 to 8:30 p.m. with the concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. featuring Soul School (Pop/R&B/Funk/Rock & Original).

July 23: Summer Concert - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m at Boardwalk Park featuring Martini Shot (Rock with Horns)

July 24: Dive-In Movie - Watch Dolphin Tale 2 (PG) for $2.25/person at Chimney Park Pool. Doors open at 8:00 pm and movie starts at 8:30 p.m.

July 30: Summer Concert - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m at Boardwalk Park featuring The Indulgers (Irish Rock)

August

August 6: Final Summer Concert - 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park featuring M Squared (Jazz-Rock/Jam Band). Look for Windsor 125 activities including a photo booth, interactive chalkboard wall, and more.

August 7: Movie in the Park - Watch Earth Echo (PG) for free in conjunction with the Teen Bonfire. Movie starts at 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park.

August 21: Movie in the Park - Watch Big Hero 6 (PG) for free! Movie starts at 8:30 p.m. at Boardwalk Park.

September

September 5-7: Harvest Festival - Windsor’s premiere festival will be bigger than ever. Look for bigger bands, old-timey games, great give-aways, and lots of opportunities to celebrate Windsor 125. Visit the event page for a full schedule of Labor Day activities.

September 5: Opening of Colorado's 10th Mountain Division exhibit - The Art & Heritage Center, 116 5th Street, is excited to welcome the Colorado's 10th Mountain Division traveling exhibit! In honor of the exhibit opening and the Windsor Harvest Festival, the Art & Heritage Center and the Boardwalk Park Museum will have extended hours on Sept. 5, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. Visit the event page for more information.

September 5: Windsor High School All School Reunion - As part of the Windsor Harvest Festival, Windsor alumni are welcome to celebrate Windsor's 125th Anniversary with an all school reunion!

Enjoy the afternoon visiting with classmates, touring the high school, or contributing to the memory maker wall with photos or written memories. In attendance will be the class of 1955 who will be celebrating their 60th High School reunion. Catch up with fellow classmates, teachers, and other alumni that afternoon then enjoy an entire evening of other fun filled events.

October 3: Heritage Fest - In honor of our founding families, the Town of Windsor is hosting the inaugural Heritage Fest on Saturday, October 3, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Boardwalk Park. Over many hundreds of years, Native Americans, French trappers, German Russians and Hispanic people settled in the area. Thanks to their hard work and love of the land, Windsor and our residents are proud to call this place home. 

The Heritage Fest will include numerous activities and demonstration for the whole family – from children’s games and crafts to storytelling and native dancers, the event will embrace our heritage and provide hours of fun. Tour historic buildings and learn more about our exciting heritage. Ethnic food, 1890 Red beer from High Hops Brewery and other cold beverages will be for sale.

November

November 22: Chimney Park Food and Wine Pairing - On Sunday, November 22,  Chimney Park Restaurant & Bar will feature recipes from Choice Recipes by the First Methodist Episcopal Church in Windsor circa 1933 for their Food and Wine Pairing. The menu will be offered 4-7pm and reservations are highly recommended. Learn more

December 5: Windsor Wonderland - Santa's coming to Windsor on Saturday, Dec. 5! The Great Western Railway will be bringing Santa from the North Pole by train at 12pm at the intersection of 5th and Ash Street. After his arrival, he will stop at the historic Art and Heritage Center at Boardwalk Park to take pictures, so make sure to bring your camera!

Other attractions at the event will include wagon rides a petting zoo, carolers, dance demonstrations, hot chocolate, cookies and much more!  Downtown merchants will also have their doors open and ready for holiday business. As the sun sets, the public will be encouraged to return to Boardwalk Park to enjoy the tree lighting ceremony and caroling in front of the Windsor Depot.
